As I previously mentioned I got tickets to La Roux's show last night.. much fun. She/he (which ever 'it' classifies itself under - I will go with 'she'!) put on a great show. A pretty short set, which she apologized for, but she does only have one album - valid point. Bertie Blackman was the support which I thought was really average live. Felt like I was stuck at a struggling 80's formal.. unsure if she was actually singing or playing her guitar also, all I do know was there was back up vocals with no actual back up vocalists, interesting. I don't know much about music, but Bertie live, was just not my cup-of-tea. La Roux on the other hand, great entertainer, interesting voice, and a drummer that can juggle drumming and body rolling at the same time, very cool! Overall a good night spent with beautiful friends.
I went with a pretty simple outfit for the night, I actually took a blazer with me that isn't pictured. Being mid-march the weather is being so unpredictable.. absolutely beautiful through the day and FREEZING through the night. I absolutely love this dress, its a thrifted pick-up from years ago ('03 to be exact), I found it when rummaging through my closet the other day.
Anywho, finally an outfit post, you'll be happy to hear there is another one not far off also ;)
